Oh Baby!

Woke up this morning by painful cramps in my leg. So sore, but after rubbing for a few seconds it stopped but then baby was awake.
- Oh awake are we? Good. Wanna do some dancing? How about some waltz? Nice and slow to warm up. Da-rum-da-ra-rum-rum-rum-rum-rum. (arms and legs moving slowly across the belly, looks like they could pierce the skin alien style)
-No? You don't like it, OK...? how about some quickstep then or perhaps some disco, Swedish ey? ABBA, you are a dancing queen!! (moving much faster now, whole body is swinging around in there)
-Not a favourite? OK...oh I know Rock'n'roll! Keep hearing it so you must like it! (headbutting me now and it is sore!)
...pause...
-Don't wanna dance?- that's OK we'll do some karate!! Haiiyyyahh!!! (punching and kicking me hard!)

and this is just within a few minutes of me waking up...Good Morning!

Garden pics

Our garden is looking so good and is almost all done- looks a bit different since last June. Leah wanted me to make sure I got her shoes in the photo so I had to go closer! :)
My herb garden is probably my pride and joy- love it, it's great to be able to go out and pic herbs for dinner and I use it every other day! Love my Lupins in the garden too- reminds me of when we were at Mormor's and picked them, house smells great!

Leah dances with daddy

Leah loves to dance with her daddy- it's one of the few things they always do on the weekends and she never asks me, just daddy. Very cute!

Leah gets a bike!

The other day Eimear's sister came over for a visit and gave Leah a gift certificate which we used to buy her a bicycle and helmet. She loves them both and the day after we got them the first thing she asked for was 'where is my bike?' and then put her helmet on for eating her porridge! She is quite good and is getting really fast, has no idea really that you have to go slow so she peddles as fast as her little legs can while we're panicking that she's gonna fall and hurt herself again. But as you can see- she is very proud over this 'big girl' bike and loves that it is purple and pink!

Leah gets 2 stitches

We had just gotten home from the shop when Leah ran into her room to get her dog, running back out towards the TV room when she feel into the wall cutting her bottom lip very badly. Blood pouring out of this deep gash in her pretty lip. We rushed to the hospital and saw a Doctor within a few minutes and were told it needed stitches. At first they said they could put like a gel on the lip, a local anaesthetic on but that couldn't be done in case she'd lick it off so she had to have an injection in the wound first and then the two stitches. I gotta say this was the worst and most traumatic day of my life so far, and I don't think I've stopped crying since. She was scared and in pain when they did it and had to be held down by two nurses, crying for help- felt so utterly helpless, tried our very best to be strong for her, not to cry and I sang lullabys to her but my heart was breaking. It was all over quite fast, thank god and I think we're more scarred by this than she is! All in all, she was a trooper, listened to the Dr. and opened the mouth so he could see and has understood that the 'threads' have to stay in her lip to make it better. Just hope it heels nicely now!

Breech

So we just got home from the hospital where we saw the midwife and the baby is still breeched. Since I'm 'only' 28+ they still persist that it is nothing to worry about but I can't help but to worry. Getting scared that I'm gonna have to have a C-section, which I really don't want to. Nothing I can do to change the way the baby is positioned anyway so I'm gonna try to let it go...hopefully the little rascal will turn around soon though!

Hahahahahaha!!! What can I say?!

She made me laugh so hard today!!
